Request for assistance from membership at Rice Festival
Post 68 members:
The North Carolina Rice Festival is scheduled to be held on March 5th at the Leland Cultural Arts Center in Leland. This is the first time in a couple of years the Rice Festival has been held due to COVID. Post 68 will be there to support this event and to promote our Post to the public.
In order to be successful, we need your help. We need a total of 12 members to help out during the day in 4 shifts – 3 members per shift to work the booth. We are NOT working the parking, only our booth along with offering assistance to visitors and other vendors if needed.
We expect a large turnout of people for the festival which translates to a large exposure to the public for Post 68. Please come and help out. Uniform will be your Legion shirt and cap.
