Post Members: As a reminder, we will be participating in an Independence Day Parade on July 4th in Magnolia Greens
All marcher/riders should be at Blossoms parking lot 9:30 to 9:45 for ride to starting point at corner of Grandiflora Dr and Cornerstone/West Cove Loop (4 way stop). ALL streets leading to parade will be closed at 10:00!! Float and trailer will be there NLT 9:30/9:45. Float is available for any who chose not to march. Our Color Guard will lead the parade. Uniform is Blue shirt, Khaki shorts/pants and Baseball cap.
Once we have arrived at the Owners Club house/ Blossoms … the Color Guard will rest and wait for the end of the parade to arrive, and the PA and Music be set up . At that time, The Color Guard will form and the VFW will lead the Pledge of Allegiance.
AGAIN:
Streets leading to the starting point and transiting Magnolia Greens will be closed at 10:00 so be at Blossoms/Golf Course prior to that where we will have two shuttle cars, so marked, circulating to take members to the staging point (approx. 1205 Grandiflora Dr/4 Way stop). Marching or ride the float.
Drink water! Hydrate! and we will have water available.
Uniform is blue shirt, khaki shorts or pants and Baseball cap.
Following the parade, our color guard will be in the Pledge of Allegiance and then there will be hot dogs, etc available for those who wish to participate.
