The John E Jacobs American Legion Post 68 will be holding a damaged or unserviceable American Flag collection again this year on Saturday October 8th. Unfortunately due to circumstances outside of our control we have chosen not to have it at the Brunswick Forest Community Center. Instead we have selected a more veteran friendly location, that being the Leland Founder’s Park on Town Common Dr. We are planning on being at the Brunswick Senior Resources end of the park. You will know where by the American flags that will direct you to our location.

We will be offering hot dog’s chips and  a beverage for a donation towards our veteran’s services. To help accommodate the Brunswick Forest residents, I will have a collection container at my home starting Friday 24th. It will be in the entryway and it will be put out in the morning and removed nightly, if it rains save them for another day. I can be reached at 413-834-4106.
