The John E. Jacobs American Legion Post #68 Leland will be co-sponsoring a blood drive with WWAY on September 9th, 2022.
The Leland American Legion Post’s function is to assist fellow veterans and conduct outreach in our community. On September 9, 2022, in conjunction with WWAY and the Red Cross, we will be running a blood drive. Dan Fortini, the Post’s 1st Vice Commander stated, “our team of Veterans enjoy participating in these types of community events. Our interaction with our neighbors has always been positive.”
There is still a critical shortage, so all blood types are needed!
From 10:00 AM to 2:30 PM at the WWAY TV Studios, 1224 Magnolia Villages Way, Leland. Please sign up to give at rcblood.org/donate or call 1-800-RED CROSS. You can pre-register and streamline your visit to give blood.
For your convenience parking will be at the Leland Arts Center parking lot, a Shuttle will be available!
