New Hanover County DSS’ program called Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP) still has funds available. The funds may also be used to cover utilities.  This is available to anyone in the area who meets the requirements and is not COVID related. It is for anyone in NHC in need of financial assistance.

Those families/individuals approved will receive assistance for past due bills and 3 months. Afterward, folks who still need assistance can reapply for additional help.
