John E. Jacobs American Legion Post 68 would like to thank everyone who helped “Tee it Up Fore Veteran’s” Inaugural Golf Tournament achieve tremendous success! We were humbled and grateful for the support of community businesses including Premiere Sponsors – Skip’s Tire Cent and Coldwell Banker, Hole-in-One Sponsor – Avid Pest Pro, Putting Sponsor – Humana, Gold Level Sponsors and another 130 community business and individual sponsors. Appreciation also goes out to the 176 golfers who participated in the tournament, numerous volunteers, “Generations Band” for a fun after-party and Magnolia Greens Golf Course for serving as host. And, of course, many thanks go to the leadership and membership of Post 68 itself. It took a community coming together to create a fabulous tournament to raise funds for Veteran’s programs throughout Brunswick County.

There were many tournament highlights including opening remarks from John E. Jacob’s sister, Martha Jacobs, a Hole-in-One winner of $15,000 (Chris Royal), Veteran Honor signs and an outstanding Silent Auction.
