On Thursday December 15th, 2022, the John E. Jacobs American Legion Post #68 Leland held its’ monthly meeting at the Blossom’s restaurant banquet room at Magnolia Greens, Leland. There was a surprise Holiday hors d’oeuves buffet. Commander John Hacker gave an overview of our Post #68 2022 achievements. Rob Pinwell announced that we exceeded last year’s wreath collection for the Wreaths Across America event on Dec. 17th. at the Wilmington National Cemetery. Jamie Becker conducted the drawing for the Holiday basket at the meeting and the winner was Nancy Pulowski of Leland! It was a good evening ending a very good year for our Post.
