Post 68 Leland Lincoln Elementary flag

The John E. Jacobs American Legion Post #68 Leland presented an American flag that was flown over the Battleship North Carolina to the Lincoln Elementary School, Leland, ‘Flag Patrol’ on Monday, October 10, 2022.

The School’s old flag was lowered, folded and marked for proper disposal and the new flag was presented to the Lincoln Elementary School ‘Flag Patrol’. 

The new flag was raised in a ceremony by members of Post 68 to include:    Col Eric Terashima USMC Retired, Commander John Hacker, 1st Vice Commander Dan Fortini, Service Officer Lane Adrian.  Members of the Post Color Guard included Sgt at Arms, Jamie Becker and Guard Member Jim Hendry.
