Magnolia Greens Golf club was presented with a New Flag by John E. Jacobs American Legion Post 68, Leland on Friday, September 2nd.
The Ceremony retired the old flag with honors and the Flag which had flown over the Battleship North Carolina was raised.
The Management was presented with a Certificate for their flag which had flown over the Battleship North Carolina.
The old flag will be retired at a flag retirement ceremony to be held sometime in October in Leland. Boy Scouts Troop 747 assists the American legion with that ceremony which includes over 450 retired flags.
