Post 68 Commander John Hacker addressed attendees during American Legion District 9 staff meeting October 2nd.  Hacker talked about how the Legion needs to meet the needs of all veterans to reduce the number of veteran related suicide attempts.  Hacker is working with the District 9 Commander Dale Smith on a program for the District.

To date, several Legion Posts have held veteran encounter sessions to allow veterans to get together and just talk and discuss issues.  In the coming weeks this program will be rolling out to the District Commander for review and approval.

Post 68 once again receives a ribbon for their Post flag for meeting their membership goals for 2021.  Post 68 has received a membership ribbon for the past 7 years.
