Friday, May 27th 2022 – John E. Jacobs American Legion Post 68 Commemorates
National Poppy Day in Leland, NC. Tables manned by Post members were setup
at Piggly Wiggly, ACE Hardware and Food Lion (Mt Misery). A 4th location at Shores
Car Wash was cancelled due to rain.
Poppies are never sold – only given away as a remembrance of those who have passed on.
